2012 course timetable

The 2012 Quarter 1 course calendar is now available.

As always, we are happy to work with you should you require in-house training in addition to those courses scheduled on the calendar. Please don't hesitate to contact us if we can assist in that area.

CPD review

The Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers Board has now considered all the submissions it received in relation to the reviewed CPD scheme proposed for plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers.

As the majority of submissions did not support the proposal, the Board has decided not to proceed with its proposed scheme. The Board will now modify the scheme to incorporate many of the suggestions in the submissions received. A new round of consultation will then be undertaken.

Please note that the current CPD scheme remains in force, but the date by which this year's points must be obtained has been extended until 31 March 2013. This means that people who have not met their CPD requirements by March 2012 will not be prevented from relicensing at this time. However, they will need to have completed the current year's points requirement plus the requirement for next year by 31 March 2013.

Online registration

To register for courses, simply follow the online registration process. If you are a Master Plumbers member, you will be issued a 50% discount on all face to face and distance learning course fees when you enter your membership number. If you are a Frequent Fitter, please use the tick box option to receive your 50% discount, where applicable. Online courses are a flat fee, as stated. Payment options are Visa/MasterCard, bank transfer or cheque.
NB: Both Master Plumbers and Frequent Fitter membership status is verified.
