Bill has been in the plumbing industry for the last 34 years commencing with an apprenticeship in the last year of the 10,000 hour trade certificate pathway to licensing. He has worked in a range of areas of the plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying industry. He currently operates as a private training provider to the Building Officials Institute of NZ., writes plumbing/drainlaying courses and is a consultant to Auckland City Council. He has previsouly worked at Unitec as a plumbing tutor, operated a small plumbing drainlaying business for 20 years, and has worked in Perth W.A. and Europe. Bills first love is his family, his wife and two nearly adult children. The last ten years have built a new passion for the plumbing industry in general, after seeing the other side from the purely hands on side of the job. His other passion is sailing, as no other suitable photograph is available he has included an image of himself and his son sailing on Wellington Harbour.
